One of our fantastic clients, 20 Bedford Way, made it through to the finals of this year’s Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) held last night in London. Since 2002, the awards have been celebrating excellence in marketing within the events industry. 20 Bedford Way as a bespoke Bloomsbury conference, events and performance centre were up for two awards in the following categories:

  • Best Integrated Marketing Campaign
  • Best Website

Loom were invited to the awards event to share in the celebrations and receive recognition for our hard work alongside the excellent 20 Bedford Way team and extended marketing family. Loom were responsible for optimising the 20 Bedford Way website and have continued to execute a highly effective and strategic content plan. As well as content marketing, we have built the 20 Bedford Way social media accounts to further raise brand awareness amongst their target audiences and increase the number of enquiries. We have also set up and ran a supporting PPC campaign.

The results have been fantastic. In the first six months, the site saw a 400% increase in total website traffic,2500% increase in organic traffic and 50% average MoM increase in enquiries. Our SEO and PPC campaign worked alongside a wider PR and marketing effort from AdHoc PR and Vicky LaTrobe which has resulted in 20 Bedford Way making a dramatic impact on the events industry.

And so it was that Karen and Tom donned their glad rags and made the journey from Bristol to the Big Smoke. The event at Lancaster Hotel in London was packed with movers and shakers from the international events and meeting industry. Some fantastic food, drink and company contributed to a great evening of socialising, networking and discussion on the potential for exciting digital SEO and content marketing campaigns in the events industry.

Although 20 Bedford Way didn’t scoop any of the awards on the night, it was a fantastic achievement to have made it through to the finals against such strong international competition. The feedback around the website and marketing campaign was extremely positive too.

At Loom, we love to be a part of a bigger team and see ourselves as an extension of the internal marketing team and the business as a whole. If you want to find out more about working with us to help your business grow then get in touch.
