Responsibilities

Account management & project management:

  • Account planning: Plan projects & individual deliverables in line with a defined strategy. Carefully balancing budget with client expectations.
  • Client management: Work closely with multiple clients, ensuring strong, long-term relationships are established. We pride ourselves on high client retention through listening, active interest, and tailored digital marketing activity to suit their needs, and, as such, we are looking for someone who can deliver and support on a forward-thinking, highly relevant service that adds value.
  • Project management: Coordinating deliverables with our channel specialists through project management tool “Teamwork”. This role will be a “go-to” for our channel specialists in terms of project management support, and so we are looking for someone with experience in and an ability to organise multiple marketing experts at once, and ensure they have the time, resources and assets to deliver effective campaigns.
  • Delivering success: Ensuring all work delivered helps clients achieve their goals, with the ability to react if and when approaches need to change. You will be the voice of the client in the agency, making sure that all work is in line with your clients’ requirements.
  • Reporting on performance: As a performance-based agency, our work is based on effectiveness first. Our account leads deliver critical performance reports to clients on a regular basis to assess success and deliver a proactive outlook and plan for next steps. This role requires an understanding of reporting tools and an eye for opportunities; they will need to work with channel specialists to problem solve and present clear and digestible data to a number of stakeholders.

As part of the Multi-Channel Division:

  • Supporting the Integrated Lead: This role will be integral in shaping our new multi-channel service and will assist our Integrated Lead in building out this service and making it a success at the agency as and when required
  • Strategy Input: As an account lead, we want this role to have a voice in shaping and overseeing the creation of multi-channel digital marketing strategies that generate exceptional results for our client. As such, the successful applicant will lead workshops, immersion and fact-finding sessions to get to the heart of what matters for our clients, and where growth opportunities can be found. They will then need to work closely with the Integrated Lead and channel specialists to develop a robust strategy to present directly to client stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Marketing Loom Projects and Services: Help us generate more integrated clients working with our marketing team on thought leadership pieces, etc. 
  • Forward Thinking and Future-Proofing: We continually evolving as an agency; we’re always trying to give our clients the competitive edge by adopting new and emerging marketing tactics and channels. We may require you to broaden your remit to keep adding value and making recommendations to clients. This may also require building freelance networks. 
  • We see embracing AI and marketing technology as a joint responsibility, with everyone needing to play a part in helping define the agency of the future.

Experience:

This role would be ideal for an account manager or planner looking to build on their experience and move into a more strategic position.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Agency experience is desirable
  • Client management and relationship building are essential
  • Having worked with multiple clients or projects at any one time
  • Managing budgets
  • Experience creating thoughtful, long-term marketing campaigns
  • Confidently managing multiple stakeholders at different business levels
  • Ability to understand stakeholder knowledge base and present coherent and concise performance reports

Skills
